install the unrar-free through the synaptic package manager.

Flash for xubuntu 64 bit

there is a script that you can download and run it (flash10_en.sh). I had some issues with it. The issue was placing the files in the correct directory. So i opened the script and where i got the error i did it by hand and it works on all browsers.

After having ubuntu 8.04 on laptop and was running very nicely. I decided to try out the Xubuntu version 9.10 64 bit release.

I dual boot it and installed it from windows using the wubi windows installed from ubuntu. Than selecting Xubuntu.

I installed smoothly and everything (that i use) works except the mic.

This two posts solved the issue.
